2014

The prestigious title "Social Organisation of 2013" was awarded to the SIEMACHA Association by the Programming Council of the 24th Economic Forum in Krynica. " We appreciate the scale of innovation and determination that you present in your social activities - said Marek Sowa, Marshall of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship - The work of SIEMACHA sets new standards for the whole non-governmental sector".

2014

Father Andrzej Augustyński was awarded the Grand Prix Amicus Hominum by the Lesser Poland Voivodeship authorities. The President of the Board of the SIEMACHA Association was given credit for his lifetime achievements in the field of social work, for his great persistence and the attention he has for the youth. Barbara and Jerzy Stuhr, Lidia Jazgar and Jerzy Ksprzyk have also received the Amicus Hominum award in 2014.

2014

The President of the Board of SIEMACHA, Father Andrzej Augustyński received the Pro Publico Bono award from the Minister of Work and Social Policy, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz. The special medal was made to mark the 25th anniversary of the Public Employment Service. The medal was awarded for "the effort and involvement in helping the needy and an empathic and kind attitude to people."

2014

Palatinatus Poloniae Minoris Meriti, the Medal of Merit of Małopolska Region, is an honorary distinction awarded to Father Andrzej Augustyński CM for special services rendered to social development in the Małopolska Region. It is given by the Regional Parliament of Małopolska on a motion from the Medal Jury, and the official presentation ceremony was hosted by by the region in a festive celebration event.

2014

A civil Polish decoration awarded to Father Andrzej Augustyński CM by the Minister of Interior in response to a motion from the Chief Commander of Police in Kraków. As set out in the legal act, the medal was awarded for initiating action designed to prevent crime and offences, and promote cooperation with organs of the state, territorial authorities, and social organisations in the area.

2013

Father Andrzej Augustyński CM was presented with the Jan Wnęk Award for the activities seeking to develop Odporyszów and promoting the locality. The person of Jan Wnęk, a 19th-century sculptor and early aviator, is closely linked to Odporyszów. Not only did he leave a heritage of magic sculptures but is also considered the first person in history to take flight.

2012

The editorial board of Tygodnik Powszechny, the Catholic weekly, awarded the Medal of St George to Father Andrzej Augustyński CM. This recognition is presented to people who – like St George – efficiently “combat the dragon” of stereotypes and harmful superstitions that damage social tissue.

2011

For the development of an operation of the SIEMACHA Association, continuing the traditions of the “house of shelter and voluntary work for poor and orphaned boys” set up by Father K. Siemaszko in Kraków in the 19th century, Father Andrzej Augustyński CM was presented with a TOTAL Award in the category of “promotion of the human character, and charitable and educational work”.

2011

For the unique combination of education, sport, and therapy, SIEMACHA Association was chosen as the best social entrepreneur in Małopolska in 2011 The competition jury appraised very highly the fascinating and attractive offer and numerous unorthodox actions undertaken by the Association in the Com-Com Zone Nowa Huta Development Centre.

Father Andrzej Augustyński CM won the Józef Dietl Award 2011 for the development of civic attitudes in Kraków and Małopolska, and also for the pursuit of ideals that Józef Dietl – a recognised Mayor of the City of Kraków and Rector of the Jagiellonian University – stood for.

2010

An honour awarded by the jury of the Cities for Children Network of European Cities to the Com-Com Zone Development Centre in Nowa Huta for the unique combination of sport, educational, and psychotherapeutic activity on a single site.

A decoration was awarded by the Mayor of the City of Tarnów for extensive activity in support of those in need, and also for the promotion of Tarnów.

Award for a special contribution to the development of the Tarnów Region. The Uskrzydlony / Winged statuettes have been awarded by a Jury since 1988 to people and businesses from the Małopolska and Podkarpacie regions appointed by the Council of the Founders of Tarnów Foundation for Culture presided over by Stanisław Lis.

In 2009, the Director General of the SIEMACHA Association, Father Andrzej Augustyński CM was awarded the Officer’s Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta (Order of the Rebirth of Poland) by the President of the Republic of Poland Lech Kaczyński for his social activity in support of children and young people.

2008

Honoris Gratia Decoration of Merit awarded by the Mayor of Kraków. It is a prestigious token of recognition for services rendered to the development of Kraków and its young residents.

2006

A distinction from the Marshal of Małopolska Region for the best organisation for public benefit (OPP). An honorary distinction awarded to Siemacha in the Social Policy category.

2006

Main Prize for Activity in Health Protection, Social Aid, and Charity. The Pro Publico Bono Competition for the Best Civic Initiative is held under the honorary patronage of the Commissioner for Civil Rights Protection. The main founder of the prize is the Polish-American Freedom Foundation.

2003

Father Andrzej Augustyński CM received the Father Józef Tischner Award in the category of the pastoral and civic initiatives building “the Polish realm of dialogue of the Church and the world”. The awards was instituted by the publishing board of Znak monthly and Ergo Hestia Insurance Company based in Sopot.
